The problem
Why does warehouse work go unbilled?
Because the person doing the work isn't the person billing it. A pallet gets relabeled, a delivery arrives damaged, a kitting run takes three hours — and by the time finance hears about it, the details are gone or it never comes up at all.

What does the floor app capture?

Receiving at the dock
Associates count cartons and units against the PO and photograph the BOL, packing slip, pallets and any damage. Counts bill against the client's receiving rates; BOL and packing-slip photos attach to the order in ShipHero.

Billable work, logged unpriced
Quick Charge records the work — what, for whom, how many, how long. Associates never see prices; finance prices and approves the charge.

Tasks, timers and work orders
Assignments and recurring tasks with one running timer per person; work orders for kitting, assembly and projects. Billable time becomes an ad-hoc charge automatically.

Warehouse Floor App: common questions
Do associates need to download an app?
No. The floor app is a web app that installs to a phone or tablet's home screen from the browser. Associates sign in with a personal PIN, which works on shared devices.
Can associates see what we charge clients?
No. The floor app never shows prices, costs or margins. Associates record the work; finance prices it.
Does it replace our WMS scanners?
No. Picking, packing and label printing stay in your WMS. The floor app captures the work the WMS doesn't — receiving evidence, special projects, timed tasks — and writes relevant results back to it.
How does Auto-Pack choose a carton?
It checks, in order: products that ship in their own packaging, full cases, boxes that past orders with the same contents consistently shipped in, and the smallest box that physically fits every unit. If dimensions are missing it abstains and queues the SKU for measuring rather than guessing.
